There are only a handful of truly ski-in, ski-out properties in Verbier and Chalet Bellaiuva is one of them. This luxury ski chalet is nestled high above the main village in the exclusive hamlet of Clambin and is accessed on skis via the blue Clambin piste. The chalet has a ski-doo and snow vehicle for the non-skier and for when guests wish to go down to the main village.
The chalet’s name means “beautiful view” in local Patois and its position affords such an appropriate name with stunning views of the valley and village below. Bellaiuva is actually 2 chalets combined together, both over 100 years old. They have been refurbished to an excellent standard, creating a magnificent luxury chalet and a flagship in the operator’s portfolio.
Bellaiuva has been redesigned with a modern appeal and incorporates a number of unique features that are perfect for the chalet’s purpose. It includes a ‘wet room’ entrance on the ground floor complete with heated boot warmers and clothes dryers. On the first floor, there is a high tech media room to entertain guests and a Brazilian slate steam bath with rain shower to revitalise guests after a long day on the slopes.
The chalet is set out over 3 floors and sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms all en suite. The first of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, a double. An elegant stairway leads to the first floor with the main living, dining and kitchen areas. The decor is wonderfully spacious and contemporary with wood flooring and loft style ceilings brightened by clean white walls and large feature windows. From here you can access the main terrace and balcony. Also on this floor are a further double bedroom with en suite shower and a bunk room sleeping up to 4, with a shower and adjacent WC.
The master bedroom with en suite bath and shower and a further double bedroom with en suite shower are located on the top floor. The cedar wood terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi is accessed from this floor. |
