Thought to be the best chalet in the world...we’ll leave you to decide.
Chalet L.Raphael is without doubt a remarkable property created with immense care and devotion. The exterior is impressive but inside even more so; grandeur with sheer elegant refinery that is simply astounding. The interior offers an eclectic blend of international influences with Italian, French and Swiss styles throughout and a hint of art deco in many of the rooms. Fabulous antique furnishings and art adorn the rooms and some of the finest materials such as marbled oak are used within them.
With 3,000m² of living space covering 5 floors, this is not your usual luxury ski chalet. It accommodates 18 guests in 6 suites, 2 superior rooms and the Royal Suite. It goes without saying that all are beautifully designed and breathe supreme luxury.
An 18th Century country kitchen lies at the heart of the chalet and it is open for guests to be entertained by the professional chef as he prepares his mouth-watering creations. A wide selection of wine is available from the secret underwater wine cellar to accompany the chef’s culinary delights. A soothing aroma and air of warmth emanate from the Club room, a room where guests can relax in front of the roaring open fire with a cognac in one hand and a cigar in the other.
The chalet boasts the most beautiful 15m Onyx swimming pool on lowest floor which is the 3rd level underground. There is a large state of the art gymnasium to help raise the pulse. L Raphael even has a luxury spa with a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. There are also 6 treatment rooms and 6 massage rooms where guests can indulge in a number of beauty treatments and therapies that rejuvenate the body and relax the mind.
Guests need not leave the chalet even for a taste of après ski; they can sample either the Sushi Bar or the Vodka Bar before moving to the Asian disco to dance the night away.
Chalet L. Raphael appears to have thought of everything and delivered with amazing style. |
