Chalet Altair is a spacious luxury ski chalet located in a private enclave as you drive into Meribel.   The operator has 3 more luxury chalets within this quiet close and their Merishuttle service carries guests to and from the town and the slopes regularly throughout the day.

The chalet sleeps 8 guests comfortably with 2 twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and a master double bedroom with balcony.   All have en suite bathrooms.  The double bedroom has a steep staircase leading up to a mezzanine floor housing twin beds under low eaves (additional guests sleeping here receive a reduction in price).

This is a wonderful chalet to relax in especially on a winter’s night, sat amongst large comfortable sofas surrounding a roaring open fire in the cosy lounge.  Another sitting area has doors that open out onto the balcony that stretches around the side of the chalet; a perfect spot to marvel at the surroundings.  The live in chalet staff busily prepare the meals in the kitchen before serving in the elegant dining room.

Upon returning from the slopes, guests can relax and unwind in the Jacuzzi located on the ground floor. There’s no better way to soothe those aching muscles.
