Few chalets can boast access via its own telecabin but Chalet Ecureuils does.  There is also a well maintained footpath through a wooded area that leads to this secluded chalet.  It is located in an elevated position with clear views of the Matterhorn and just a 5 minute walk to the main Klein Matterhorn departure station and to the centre of Zermatt.

Chalet Ecureuils has been carefully renovated and transformed into modern luxury ski accommodation.  It retains alpine charm on the outside but the inside has been redesigned to present stylish contemporary living areas.  A great deal of thought has been given to its layout and use of natural light; new windows have been installed to draw more daylight to sociable lounge, dining and kitchen areas.

The lounge has a modern wood burning fireplace and brown leather sofas.  It is equipped with plasma TV, DVD, music system and wireless internet connection.  Chic glass doors open to reveal an elegant dining room and French doors lead out from the lounge onto the terrace overlooking the garden where children can have fun in the snow.

The chalet sleeps 10 people in 5 double bedrooms of which 3 have en suite bathrooms and 2 share a separate bathroom.  Guests can unwind in the sauna and relaxation area where massages and reflexology are also available upon request.
